Depending upon how you interact with LiveBazaar, we may collect information including:

3. Consent and Lawful Processing

Where consent is required, LiveBazaar will seek consent in accordance with applicable law.

Where applicable, users may withdraw consent through the mechanism provided by LiveBazaar, subject to legal consequences and processing that may lawfully continue without that consent.

Withdrawal of consent does not invalidate processing lawfully undertaken before withdrawal.

4. Information Shared With Sellers

Where necessary to fulfil an order, relevant customer information may be shared with the seller responsible for that order.

Sellers must use customer information only for authorised purposes and in accordance with applicable law and LiveBazaar's seller requirements.

Sellers must not misuse customer telephone numbers, addresses or other personal information for unauthorised solicitation.

5. Service Providers

Information may be shared, where appropriate, with service providers such as:

  • Shopify and ecommerce infrastructure providers;

  • payment gateways/processors;

  • banks;

  • logistics/courier providers;

  • communications providers;

  • cloud/hosting providers;

  • analytics/security providers;

  • fraud-prevention providers;

  • professional advisers; and

  • other processors/service providers reasonably necessary to operate LiveBazaar.

Such sharing is limited to legitimate business/legal purposes as applicable.

6. Government and Legal Disclosure

LiveBazaar may disclose information where required or permitted by applicable law, lawful court order, governmental/regulatory requirement or legally valid process.

LiveBazaar may also preserve or disclose relevant information where legally permissible and reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, protect users, establish or defend legal claims, or protect the security of the Platform.

7. Payment Information

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers.

LiveBazaar does not require customers to disclose their UPI PIN, ATM PIN, card PIN, OTP or online-banking password to LiveBazaar personnel for refunds or ordinary customer support.

Users should never provide such credentials to a seller or person claiming to represent LiveBazaar.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

LiveBazaar and authorised technology providers may use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • essential website functions;

  • account/session management;

  • security;

  • preferences;

  • analytics;

  • performance;

  • advertising/marketing where permitted; and

  • fraud prevention.

Where consent is legally required for particular cookies or processing, appropriate consent controls should be provided.

9. Data Security

LiveBazaar will take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the information and applicable legal requirements.

No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

Users must keep account credentials confidential and promptly report suspected unauthorised access.
