Refund policy

Effective Date: 28 August 2026
Last Updated: 28 August 2026

This Return, Replacement, Cancellation and Refund Policy ("Policy") applies to purchases made through LiveBazaar, an online marketplace operated by LOHITH N, sole proprietor carrying on business under the trade name BNLN CORP, GSTIN 29BRUPN5318L1ZW ("LiveBazaar", "Platform", "we", "us" or "our").

LiveBazaar facilitates transactions between customers and independent third-party sellers. Unless expressly stated otherwise on a product listing, the relevant vendor identified on the Platform is the seller of the product.

Nothing in this Policy limits any right or remedy available to a consumer that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian law.

1. Order Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation of an order before it has entered a stage at which cancellation can no longer reasonably be processed, such as dispatch or handover to the logistics provider.

A cancellation request is not automatically accepted merely because it has been submitted.

LiveBazaar or the Seller may cancel an order where reasonably necessary due to:

  • product unavailability;

  • incorrect or manifest pricing errors;

  • payment failure;

  • seller inability to fulfil;

  • delivery restrictions;

  • suspected fraud or abuse;

  • technical errors;

  • regulatory restrictions; or

  • circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Where a prepaid order is cancelled after successful payment and a refund is due, the refund will be initiated in accordance with this Policy.

2. Product-Specific Return Eligibility

Return and replacement eligibility may differ depending on the product, seller and category.

Customers should review the return/replacement information displayed on the relevant product or order page.

A product designated as Non-Returnable is ordinarily not eligible for a discretionary change-of-mind return.

However, a Non-Returnable designation does not remove remedies that must be provided under applicable law, including where applicable in relation to products that are defective, damaged, spurious, incorrect or materially different from their description.

3. Eligible Return or Replacement Claims

Subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the order, a customer may raise a claim where:

  • an incorrect product was delivered;

  • an incorrect variant, size or quantity was delivered;

  • the product arrived materially damaged;

  • the product is materially defective;

  • the product is materially different from its listing or description;

  • required components are missing;

  • the product appears counterfeit or spurious; or

  • another legally recognised ground exists.

The remedy may consist of replacement, return, refund or another appropriate resolution depending upon the circumstances and applicable law.

4. Change-of-Mind Returns

LiveBazaar does not guarantee change-of-mind returns for every product.

Where a seller/product permits a discretionary change-of-mind return, the product should ordinarily be:

  • unused;

  • unworn, where applicable;

  • unwashed;

  • undamaged;

  • unaltered;

  • complete with accessories;

  • accompanied by original tags, manuals and packaging where reasonably required; and

  • otherwise in substantially the condition in which it was delivered.

Applicable product-specific conditions will apply.

5. Evidence for Claims

To investigate a return, replacement, missing-item, damaged-product or incorrect-product claim, LiveBazaar may reasonably request evidence such as:

  • photographs of the delivered product;

  • photographs of the outer packaging;

  • shipping label/AWB;

  • product serial number;

  • batch number;

  • product tags;

  • invoice;

  • unboxing video, if available; or

  • other information reasonably necessary to investigate the claim.

Customers should preserve the product, packaging and shipping label until the claim is resolved.

Evidence requirements will be applied reasonably and will not be used to unlawfully remove mandatory consumer rights.

6. Seller Packaging Evidence

LiveBazaar may require participating sellers to maintain packaging and dispatch evidence, including packaging videos for designated orders.

During a dispute, LiveBazaar may consider relevant available evidence from both sides, including:

  • customer evidence;

  • seller packaging evidence;

  • AWB/shipping information;

  • recorded parcel weight;

  • serial/batch information;

  • logistics records;

  • delivery information; and

  • return inspection evidence.

No single piece of evidence automatically overrides applicable law or conclusive contrary evidence.

7. Return Inspection

Returned products may be inspected after receipt.

A claim may be denied, subject to applicable law, where evidence establishes that:

  • a different product was returned;

  • the product was materially altered after delivery;

  • components were intentionally removed;

  • serial numbers were swapped or tampered with;

  • the returned product is counterfeit/substituted;

  • damage occurred after delivery through misuse;

  • the claim is fraudulent; or

  • applicable return conditions were not satisfied.

8. Refunds

Where a refund is approved, it will be processed through the original payment method or another legally permitted method communicated to the customer.

Bank/payment-provider processing times may apply after LiveBazaar or the relevant payment provider initiates the refund.

For COD transactions, an approved refund may require valid bank account or UPI information from the customer.

LiveBazaar will never require a customer's UPI PIN, card PIN, OTP or online-banking password to issue a refund.

9. Shipping Charges

Original or reverse-shipping charges may be treated differently depending upon the reason for the return.

Where the return results from a seller-attributable error, defective/wrong product or another circumstance requiring a remedy under applicable law, applicable charges will be handled accordingly.

For discretionary returns, applicable shipping/reverse-logistics charges may be deducted where disclosed and legally permissible.

10. COD and RTO

Repeated deliberate refusal of genuine COD orders, fraudulent ordering or misuse of the delivery system may result in reasonable risk controls, including restriction of COD functionality.

A legitimate refusal arising from a wrong, visibly damaged or otherwise legally valid issue will not automatically be treated as abuse.

11. Return and Refund Abuse

Prohibited conduct includes:

  • false refund claims;

  • returning a different product;

  • empty-box returns;

  • replacing genuine products with counterfeit products;

  • manipulating serial numbers;

  • fabricated photographs/videos;

  • deliberate payment fraud;

  • chargeback abuse;

  • collusion;

  • repeated fraudulent COD orders; and

  • use of multiple accounts to circumvent legitimate restrictions.

LiveBazaar may investigate suspected abuse and may restrict accounts or payment methods where reasonably justified and legally permitted.

Suspected unlawful activity may be reported to appropriate authorities.

12. Seller Responsibility

Independent sellers remain responsible for seller-controlled matters concerning products supplied by them, subject to applicable law.

LiveBazaar may facilitate communication, evidence collection, refunds, replacements and dispute resolution as part of its marketplace services.

13. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, as amended, or other applicable Indian law.
